(Message to Chris,)
As you'll see, in the morning we're singing 'Wonderful grace' and it has the line '...that gives me the TIME to change'. Once before we (accidentally, I think) had '...that gives me the POWER to change' - which is better theology. Can we do that this week?
Also: would it be possible to put, very large on the first slide of each song, the number it is in Praise! - in case I forget to announce it? One or two of the older folks find it helpful to have the number announced and I don't always remember.
Morning:
Text: Matthew 11:25-30 Title: how to come to Jesus (part 2)
Songs:
631 We believe in God
341 You are the King }
743 You laid aside }
752 Wonderful grace (see above)
776 And can it be
Communion: 424 Here is love
Evening:
Text: Romans 8:1 Title: How the cross saves
Songs:
516 When the Lord in glory comes
415 Come and see
453 When I survey (Celtic version)
779 My hope is built
